Alex Pommerville
Alex, Director of Defensive Development, grew up in Macedon, New York playing for the local youth programs before moving on to junior hockey. He played two years for the Capital District Selects in the EJHL then two years for the Salt Lake City Moose of the WSHL, where he captained the team both years as well as being named first team all-league and awarded Defenseman of the Year. Alex continued his hockey career at Worcester State University playing four years of NCAA DIII while receiving a degree in history with hopes to become a teacher. Since graduating Alex has continued his hockey career playing 6 seasons of professional hockey. He was named alternate captain while playing for the Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL before continuing to move up. Alex then played two seasons in the ECHL in the Anaheim Ducks organization and the Carolina Hurricanes organization. For his final season Alex went back to Quad City of the SPHL where he was an alternate captain again and helped lead the team as a veteran defenseman.
